RecycleBank Single Stream Recycle Service Effective immediately, we have to stop taking Shredded Paper in the RecycleBank Cart. The shredded paper contaminates the glass material and gets wrapped up in the sorting machine. We suggest that the confidential papers can simply have the name or other confidential information removed, or cut off, and the rest can be recycled. If the driver finds shredded paper in the RecycleBank Cart, he will take it out and set it next to the cart or throw it into the trash cart. Reminder: Paper & Cardboard from Fireworks are NOT recyclable! Other items not allowed: Clothes, Styrofoam, Wood, Food, etc. Renee O'Neill 2011-06-10 Recycle Info The Recycling Process is simple. Recyclables go into one cart. No Sorting! Your cart has an ID tag that is recorded by the recycling truck. The amount recycled is converted to RecycleBank Points. You can then redeem your Points for rewards of your choice. From basic needs to guilty pleasures, we have rewards for everyone! With RecycleBank, you earn Points for every pound recycled, similar to airline miles for flying. Use your RecycleBank Points to shop for rewards like groceries, gift cards and much more. Households can earn hundreds of dollars worth of rewards every year. Each pound recycled equals 2.5 Points and the average reward is 50-100 Points. Visit RecycleBank.com to see the RecycleBank Reward Partners.
